BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING & SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
I am Vincent Omare Onsase, a final-year Biomedical Engineering student at Kenyatta University, with academic interests spanning Bio-Instrumentation, Tissue Engineering, Medical Imaging, and Human Health. Alongside Biomedical Engineering, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology, driven by my interest in the One Health approach and interdisciplinary research. I have contributed to health-focused research projects and gained international academic exposure through exchanges at the Namibia University of Science and Technology and the University of Cape Town. I also hold a Diploma in Software Engineering and have completed intensive software engineering training at Moringa School, allowing me to bridge biomedical science, engineering, and technology in developing practical solutions to real-world health challenges.
01 / ABOUT
I am a multidisciplinary science and technology student with academic and professional interests at the intersection of biomedical sciences and engineering, immunology, parasitology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering and software engineering.
I am currently completing my undergraduate studies at Kenyatta University, where my academic focus includes Immunology and Medical Parasitology, alongside broader interests in Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering.
I also have a strong foundation in computing and software development. I hold a Diploma in Software Engineering from Zetech University and completed a Full-Stack Software Engineering Bootcamp at Moringa School.
My scientific interests are strongly guided by the One Health approach, particularly the interconnected relationship between human health, infectious diseases, environmental health and biological systems.
My long-term goal is to build a career that bridges traditionally separate disciplines and contributes to innovative, evidence-based solutions at the intersection of human health, technology and scientific research.
